Janice Faye Wright

Janice 'Faye' Wright was born January 3,1925 in Huggins Mo to Effie Shelley and CHS Walter Ballard, she passed away on December 24th 2016 in her home. Faye spent most of her childhood in the Holden Missouri area. she graduated from Holden High School. Faye worked for Sears Sewing Co. in Kansas City until she started her own sewing business at home called Wright's Banners. Her main business was for the Shriners making banners for the parades and the Fez hats. Death is not the evil that many believe it to be. So many of us do whatever we can to avoid it for as long as possible. We even grasp at straws sometimes to keep death away from us, but death is not the enemy. It takes us when our bodies are no longer prepared to carry on our current lives. It brings us peace and freedom from pain as God has planned. It is life that is often the enemy. The siren that convinces us to hold onto it as long as we can, even though we are filled with pain. We should let or life leave us when it is time an do it gladly instead of with sorrow and bitterness. Jesus wants us and when we arrive we will wonder what it was that held us back so long. With joy we lived our lives with Faye through good times and bad. Her love for us and ours for her has and will always be. Faye will forever live in our hearts. No one will ever be able to replace her in our lives. Faye is preceded in death by her husband Larry Wright, her daughter Karen Sue Ash two grandsons Gerald Phillip Ash and Larry Jennings Ash Jr. A grand daughter Julie Gene Ash, her five sisters, and her parents Effie and Walter. She is survived by her grand daughter Deborah Ash of the home, great grandson Joshua and his wife Katrina Ash and their three children Austin, Abbi, and Karen Bell and great grandson Joseph Ash of Centerview Mo, great grandson Travis Ogle of Prairie Home, great grandson Tyler Ash of Lee Summit, Great grandson Dakota Underwood of Calhoun and great grand daughter Summer Underwood of Bolivar. Step son Jack of Independence Mo and Step Grandson David and many more friends and family members and a special thank you to Robert, Rick, Brian and Kathrine for trying to help save her life. I though of you with love today, but that is nothing new I thought about you yesterday and days before that too, I think of you in silence, I often speak your name, All I have are memories and you pictures in a frame your memory is my keepsake with which I'll never part God has you in His keeping, I have you in my heart.
