Margaret Ann Cline

Margaret Ann Cline, 86 of Kingsville, Missouri passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at her home in Kingsville, Missouri, surrounded by her children. Margaret was born on Friday, July 29, 1938, in Lawrence, Kansas, to the late Dennis Kruse and the late Lillian Kruse. She attended Kingsville High School until the 9th grade and later obtained her GED Certificate in 1981. In 1956, Margaret married Richard L. Cline, and from this marriage they had their children; Richard “Rick”, Phillip, and Dennise. Margaret was employed by Rival Manufacturing Co., for over 20 years. She was last employed by Stahl’s Specialty and as a machinist / tool setter and worked for them for many years. Margaret was very devoted to her faith. She taught Sunday school in one way or another for over 60 years at Forrest Grove Baptist Church. Margaret was an avid member of the Holden Garden Club and loved having flowers and plants of all types around her. She was a lead nurse for the Red Cross in the Kingsville Schools, a PTA member for Kingsville Schools and a member and cook for the Holden HOPE (Senior) Center. Everyone was said to have loved the days when she prepared the meal including her famous fried chicken. In her younger years, she loved to travel and camp. Gardening and shopping at thrift stores were two common things that you could see her doing often. Margaret was very devoted to her large family, and she loved to be around her family whenever she could. Margaret made an impact on everyone she met. Margaret will be missed by her loving family, friends and church family alike. Surviving are son, Richard "Rick" (Jayne) Cline of Pleasant Hill, MO, daughter, Dennise A. (Justin) Bowyer of Marshall, MO, brother, Dennis (Elaine) W. Kruse of Kingsville, MO, sister, Mary R. Lowe of Lee’s Summit, MO, grandchildren; Jamie (Keith) Ratliff, Andrew (Jacquline) Mallinson, Robin (Roger) Conner, Megan (Jacob) Thompson, Jon Stevenson, Kolton Cline, Kaylee (Chris) Foley, Kaleb Cline, Chase (Heather) Campbell, Chance (Channing) Campbell, Tyson (Erin) Bowyer, Crystal (Troy) Pierce and Caryne (Shane) Gordon. She is also survived by 33 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving her passing are her two beloved dogs, Lucy and Annie. She was preceded in death by her parents; Dennis Kruse and Lillian (Self) Kruse, and her former husband Richard L. Cline, son; Phillip R. Cline, sister; Ethel Jane Kruse and grandson; Chaderick Campbell. A Visitation will be held from 5:00pm – 7:00pm on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Campbell-Cast Funeral Home located at 407 S. Pine St. Holden, Missouri 64040. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 10am at Campbell-Cast Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Anderson officiating. Pallbearers are: Andrew Mallinson, Chandler Ballowe, Kaleb Cline, Kolton Cline, Roger Conner and Chris Foley. Interment will be in the Holden Cemetery following the funeral service. In Lieu of flowers the family asked that memorials be made out to the Forrest Grove Baptist Church or St. Croix Hospice of Harrisonville.
