Larry Dwight O’Hare, age 68, of Kingsville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Lee’s Summit Medical Center in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Larry was born on Friday, May 22, 1953, in Portales, New Mexico, the son of Robert Gordon O’Hare and Olive Ida (Moore) O’Hare. Larry married his wife of 47 years, Barbara (Hamilton) O’Hare on November 21, 1973, in Lee’s Summit, MO. In 2013 Larry retired from Western Waterproofing of Kansas City, MO. He was a member of the Antique Tractor Club of Kansas City, MO, a member of the Freedom of Road Riders and a longtime member of the NRA (National Rifle Association). Larry was of the Christian faith. Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Robert, and Olive Ida O’Hare; two brothers, Richard O’Hare, Jerry O’Hare. Larry is survived by his wife, Barbara O’Hare of Kingsville, MO; two sons, Bryon Neil O’Hare of Kingsville, MO, Robert Gordon O’Hare III and wife, Lauren of Kingsville, MO; two daughters, Bobbie Jean Ruehter and husband, Keith of Lee’s Summit, MO, Patrisha Dawn O’Hare of Kingsville, MO; two brothers, Donald O’Hare and wife, Kathy of Pleasant Hill, MO, Jack O’Hare of Strasburg, MO; three sisters, Jean Neeley of Greenwood, MO, Sue Bulcler, Debby Rathbone and husband, James of Lee’s Summit, MO, Linda Friedman and husband, Randy of Humansville, MO; six grandchildren, Meghan, Justyn, Tyler, Madison, Jackson and Jameson; 2 great grandchildren, Beau and Luke.
