Rita Faye (Rogers) Davis, age 62, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2020 at her home in Holden, MO. She was born on July 26, 1957 in Pikeville, KY the daughter of John Rogers and Dollie (Bryant) Rogers. Rita moved to Holden when she was four years old. She worked for the King Louie Shirt Factory in Pleasant Hill, MO, as well as the Holden Manufacturing Company (Sewing Factory) in Holden, MO. Rita cleaned houses for the elderly in Holden for several years, she always loved helping the people of her wonderful community. Rita was a former member of the Holden Chamber of Commerce. On February 25, 1972 she was united in marriage to her husband Eddie Davis, who preceded her in death. Rita loved and adored her grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting and she loved gardening and watching her flowers grow. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, John Rogers and Dollie Bryant; husband, Eddie Davis; son, Chad Davis; daughter, Chandra Davis; brother, Jimmy Rogers; sister, Ruby Clevenger and sister-in-law, Connie Rogers. She is survived by one brother, Lloyd Rogers (Holden, MO); three sisters, Lillie Ray (Kingsville, MO), Birdie Whyde and husband Norman (Kingsville, MO), Lexie Atkinson (Drexel, MO); three grandchildren, Breann Reese, Andrew Maddux, Shayla McDowell; three great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the Holden Cemetery, Holden, MO. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Holden Senior Center (204 W 2nd, Holden, MO 64040). Arrangements entrusted to Campbell-Cast Funeral Home, Holden, MO.
