James Eddie Farrow

James Eddie Farrow, 67, of Warrensburg, MO, (formerly of Holden, MO) passed away at home, on Friday, May 14, 2021 after a long fight with dementia. James was born on January 10, 1954 in Columbia, Ohio, the son of Ruby D. (Fricky) Hall. He was a 1972 Graduate of Holden High School. In Warrensburg, on September 21, 1983 James married his wife of 37 years, Vickie (Peek) Farrow. James was a Vietnam Veteran. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and later served in the United States Army until his retirement. James worked for the State of Missouri as a Correctional Officer. He was also employed with GMC (General Motors Company) and Walmart Inc. James was a member of the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) Post #4195 in Knob Noster, MO. James was a hardworking man, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading and karate. He was of the Baptist Faith. James is survived by his wife, Vickie Farrow of Warrensburg, MO; daughter, Christina Pieczynski and husband, Jessey of Warrensburg, MO; son, Dwayne Chapman and wife, Dana of Warrensburg, MO; son-in-law, Steve Lynn; six grandchildren, Jerry, Steven, Tiffiney, Ashley (Nick), Braiden (Josh) and Cassidy; four great grandchildren, Kiley, Allison, Lincoln and Kenzie; two sisters, Karen Wellborn of Knob Noster, MO, Patricia Maxwell and husband, Richard of Knob Noster, MO; several nieces, nephews and cousins. James is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ruby Hall; sister, Dianna Hall and daughter, Diane Lynn. Visitation for family and friends will be from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Campbell-Cast Funeral Home (407 S. Pine) Holden, MO. A Graveside Service with full military honors will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery (SW,228 MO-13) Warrensburg, MO. Pallbearers will be Jessey Pieczynski, Dwayne Chapman, Steve Lynn, Josh Guy, Shawn Lawrence and Shane Lawrence.
