Patricia Kay Talley

Patricia Kay (Thompson) Talley 81, of Holden, Missouri passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Patricia was born on August 13, 1939 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of John Vernon Thompson and Tora Katherine (Robinson) Thompson. Patricia grew up and went to school in Kansas City, MO. She married Richard Paul Talley Sr. on April 27, 1956 in Kansas City, MO. Making their home in Grain Valley, MO until 1992 when they moved to Holden, MO. Patricia was a Homemaker, she did a great deal of volunteer work helping others. She enjoyed bowling and softball and was a member of a bowling league. Patricia was a member of the Holden First Baptist Church in Holden, MO. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, John V. and Tora K. Thompson; her husband of 37 years, Richard Paul Talley Sr.; two brothers, Bob and Mike Thompson; one sister, Sharon Keltner; one granddaughter, Katherine Marie Lay; two great grandchildren, Colin Luis and Gracielynn Marie Talley. Patricia is survived by three sons, Richard Talley Jr. of Holden, MO, Robert E. Talley and wife Christine of Warsaw, MO, John Michael Talley and wife Kristy of Holden, MO; two daughters, Victoria Lynn Talley of Holden, MO, Rebecca Marie Talley of Holden, MO; one brother, Harold Harding of Little Rock AR, 13 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. A Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Campbell-Cast Funeral Home in Holden, MO. Funeral Services will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael Wakeman officiating. Pallbearers will be Johnny Kuenstler, Jimmie Conway, Terrance Jacob, Toby Pennington, Terry Brown and Robert Talley II. Honorary Pallbearers are John Keltner and John Paul Talley. Private Interment for the Family of Patricia Talley will take place at the Holden Cemetery, Holden, MO. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Victoria Talley.
