Wendy Manning

Wendy Raye Manning. 53, of Holden, Missouri passed away Friday, March 15th, 2019 at Lee’s Summit Medical Center, Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Wendy was born on Monday, March 14th, 1966 in Kansas City, Missouri. The daughter of, Abraham and Joanie Marie (Boschenriehter) Manning. Wendy attended Springhill High School, Springhill, Kansas, graduating in 1985. Wendy was a Housekeeper. Wendy moved to Holden, Missouri from Paola, Kansas, she was a resident of Holden, for six years. Wendy was of the Christian Faith. Wendy grew up showing horses and was involved in Praire Star 4-H Club, and the KSHSC Horse Circuit( youth group). Wendy was a very outgoing and athletic person who was also involved in drill team at Spring Hill High in Spring Hill, Ks. She had a warming smile, big heart, bright personality, and was willing to help others when she could. Wendy was the mother of two children (Tiffany and Dusty). She always made sure to surround them with unconditional love, strength, and growth. 5 years ago Wendy met David at their place of work not long after they began their life together in Holden, Mo. She liked taking walks with David and their dogs (Fabio, T Baby, and Daliha). She loved her animals very much. Wendy was a house keeper, farm hand, and gardener for Mr. & Mrs. Jennings. Her favorite flower was roses, especially red ones. Wendy was a devoted girlfriend, mother, and grandmother. She loved music, dancing, playing darts, and hacky sacking. Her favorite place to eat was KFC buffet. Her life was lived out surrounded with unconditional love from family and friends. There will be a celebration of life Sat. March 30, 2019 @ Kingsville Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M.( 203 W. Adriatic St. Kingsville, Mo. 64061) A dinner will follow afterwards in back kitchen area. Wendy is survived by her Mother, Joanie Morrow, Springhill, Kansas; Companion, David King, Holden, Missouri; Daughter, Tiffany Marie Manning, Osawatomie, Kansas; Sister, Donna Kaye Manning; two Granddaughters, Kaley Joles and Bethany Joles. Wendy was preceded in death by her Father, Abraham Manning and Son, Dusty Manning. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Family in memory of Wendy Raye Manning and my be sent to the Campbell - Cast Funeral Home in Holden, Missouri.
